I had surgery on my foot and after weeks of a knee scooter and crutches my back was wrecked! A coworker suggested I go visit The Joint and I am so glad that I did. I signed up for the wellness plan and have been going regularly. My back pain is SO IMPROVED and I do not know where I would be right now without The Joint. Dr. Christine and Dr. Brooke have taken such good care of me and I am forever grateful!

I don't even know where to start, the beginning would prolong this, which I don't care to do in this forum. I will say The Joint is NOT transparent. I called ahead and spoke to Kimberly at Joint West, since I have never been to a chiropractor. I was told about the $29 special and the $79/month for 4 visits. She made no mention that there is a 2 month commitment even if you cancel. They hold your credit card hostage and continue to charge you until you complete the cancellation FORM.
When I attempted to cancel on day two because my pain had worsened, this person Hanna informs me I am required to cancel 2 days prior to payment. In that case, you should provide the Agreement 2 days prior to my visit so I can decide if I want to cancel before you charge my account. That is so idiotic!
They took advantage of my pain/discomfort by presenting a 14 page Agreement, small print, for me to review and sign while experiencing neck and back pain. NO, they are not transparent, they are manipulative and deceptive!
You state you hire "quality" chiropractors, but how do you measure quality when your service is hit-or-miss depending on which chiropractor sees you. That brings me to this point, I went in for adjustment yesterday (3/14/24) and was seen by Dr. Dan? Dr. Dave? (Hint: it seems the inexperienced ones don't give their last name). He performed that push-down pressure back-crack, which is very uncomfortable to me as I am a small frame woman. They have done that once before at my initial visit (out of 5 visits so far). I'm going to need to know the purpose of that method. Anyway, 2 hours later and I'm feeling discomfort in my left shoulder and neck, which had once disappeared, bones popping in that same area; sporadic sharp pain in my right neck to my head (like a headache). He is one I will never let touch me again! I won't pay for your incompetence! I can't wait for 10:00 when they open. They're going to fix this!

We regret any misunderstanding about your plan. We work very hard to ensure that our staff clearly explains all of the policies to our patients in order to avoid a situation such as this.
Our Wellness Plan gives patients 4 adjustments a month for only $79 - our best deal on regular care. Per our membership agreement, your plan has a 2 month minimum that then continues month to month until you request cancellation and turn in the proper form. All patients who choose to take advantage of one our plans agrees to all terms of the plan in writing before commencement of any billing. Copies of these agreements, which get taken home with every new member, clearly state how the plan works, how it is billed, our refund policy, and our cancellation policy.
That said, we pride ourselves in our quality and convenient care, and go to great lengths to hire top performing doctors who are known for their exceptional attention to detail with our patients. Our adjustments should always feel efficient, professional, and personal. We truly apologize that you felt this was not the case. However, it's important to note that it isn't uncommon to notice changes quickly with chiropractic care - some uncomfortable - as one moves through the healing process. We are very sorry that you experienced any tension after your adjustment and would appreciate the chance to address your area of concern and make this right. WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Spent 40+ minutes filling out all their paperwork because every time I tried to submit they'd find "one more thing" i needed to fill out AND THEN they couldn't figure out how their own system worked so the front desk employee suggests giving me a hard copy of the paperwork to start over on. Umm, NO. Learn how to do your job.
Meanwhile, my daughter (whose paperwork apparently went through) goes back, chiropractor doesn't even say hello, ask what she's treating, or acknowledge her in any way but just performs a couple random manual adjustments even though her profile says activator only. I really enjoyed using this location for my adjustments as I need them for my career. My sister bought me a package deal for Christmas last year so I came in last week to buy myself another package. I was told I needed to see the doctor before I could purchase it. I really just wanted to buy the deal and leave. So I waited and filled out all of the paperwork that was very irritating and overwhelming because of how much they kept giving me to fill out. After I filled everything out, I waited as two guest went back before me. Then as I continued to wait, other customers who had apparently paid to skip me because of the membership kept coming in and going ahead of me. I told the receptionist that I will come back and didn't agree with how that system works. Five people jumped ahead of me because I wasn't a member, but that was the exact reason I came in. She said "eventually" the doctor would get to me. I could have potentially sat there for 45+ minutes before being seen because of the way your business model is set up. I don't agree with how that works. I should not be skipped, it should be some sort of order. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Because of that you have lost me as a customer.

I've been coming to this location for 2 years now since it is close to my work. I'm starting to get really frustrated of this location as it cannot consistently keep their providers. Dr. Shay, Houston, Joe. Are either gone or was moved somewhere else. When you're about to get some sort of consistent routine, somebody leaves or moves. A key to a provider and patient relationship is consistency. But you are not getting that here. I might need to look for a privately owned chiro moving forward

The place has gone to hell. Dr Jeffrey was the last great Dr at this location. She used to be a consistent reliable provider for multiple years when Dr Fowler left. Since then it's been 14 different Drs, lack of experience, consistency, knowledge, due care, you name it. Dr Jeffrey was recently back with a great new young male Dr for about six months consistently. Haven't seen her in weeks now, nor the young male Dr. For their most expensive location, with the highest traffic of all Joints in mid TN, you'd think the owners would keep their best Drs permanently staffed here and correctly. In addition to a poor pricing/subscription method, the owner is missing obvious moves for the bottom line and loyal following this place should have. Go private until the owners learn to listen to consistent feedback.

Doc didn't even take the time to figure out what was wrong with my back. Not a single question or concern. Tells me to lay down and just goes to town shoving my back where it was painful over and over again. Nothing cracking, popping, or moving. Just hurting it to the point that I had to tell him to stop. After that he proceeded to give me a sales pitch on membership. When we were done he told the receptionist "He's feeling much better". Never said that I was. Especially since I walked away in pain Now my back is definitely worse than it was when I went in and I'm going to a private practice this week to fix what he messed up. I gave two stars because the receptionist was kind.

Only about collecting a pay cheque here. Do not sign up for the 2 months no matter what they keep your money, even if visits are making it worse. I was unable to come back for 4 visits and they charged me for all of them.
