Yesterday was a day of gratitude and celebration as we marked two significant milestones in the Nashville community. Mending Hearts celebrated their 20th anniversary, and Hustle Recovery opened their treatment program with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. Tomorrow, April 24th is known as #DenimDay. This day of action and awareness is an event in which people are encouraged to wear denim to combat victim blaming. It was inspired by a well-known Italian sexual assault trial where the survivor was unjustly blamed because of her choice of jeans.
