2023 was a year of so much growth for NSS! We started our first program, grew our team and directory, and helped bring many cool ideas and events to fruition. To celebrate, we put together an impact report on our website for any interested to learn more about what we were up to this year. Our team at NSS is so grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our community this year, and we are so excited to share what we have going on in 2024! 🪴

Hello friends of NSS! We are so excited to write to you to let you know that we have more Transit Together (https://lnkd.in/exERda2q) sessions coming up, and we would love for you to attend and help us spread the word! Since the start of our sessions, we have been able to reach over 200 Nashvillians and hear from them what their current transportation struggles are, what they wish Nashville would implement, and which projects they would support. This information has been integral in helping us draft our plan that will soon be discussed with Metro Council, the new Mayor of Nashville, NDOT, and WeGo, and eventually voted on as a referendum by everyone in Nashville! Here is where we need your help: With this second round of Transit Together sessions, we need to reach another 200 people in order for our results to be statistically significant. Would you help us reach our goal by either attending one of these sessions or helping us spread the word? Whether through newsletter, social media, or simply personally inviting folks, we need all hands on deck to make sure these next sessions get us to our goal number. For the ease of sharing on social media, please share this post: https://lnkd.in/eiUEUA3J The first two sessions of this round are with: 50 Forward on August 17th Register here: https://lnkd.in/ecCmF4Ec Islamic Center of Nashville- Bellevue on August 29th Register here: https://lnkd.in/eeTAVaNu Additionally, we have created a new digital survey to help gather data and results from folks. It takes around 5 minutes to complete, and can be found here: https://lnkd.in/enzV43KH. If you have a few minutes to help us out, we would greatly appreciate it! Your feedback will directly influence the development of more efficient and sustainable mobility options for everyone. We are in this to make your lives easier and develop a transit system that is truly for the people of Nashville!
