Since 2015, Liberty Encouraging Girls in Technology (LEGIT) program, which has empowered more than 15,000 girls to pursue their interest in technology through nationwide Girl Power Code Clubs, Story Time sessions and more. Program Co-Leads Jenna Bergevin and Lisa Rodriguez shared how the program’s 500+ volunteers are working to close the gender gap in STEM: “We initially set out to disrupt the trend of girls losing interest in STEM in middle school.
