Event Description: St. Cecilia Academy invites all families to its admissions Open House on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 2:30-4 p.m. There will be tours given by St. Cecilia students, classroom visits, a Coaches’ Corner, and fine arts demonstrations. St. Cecilia Academy is located at 4210 Harding Pike, Nashville, on The Dominican Campus next to Saint Thomas Hospital. St. Cecilia Academy is Nashville’s all-girls Catholic school for grades 9-12. Since 2004, St. Cecilia Academy has been recognized six times as one of the Top 50 Catholic high schools in the nation based on strong Catholic identity, academic excellence, and commitment to service. SCA is also home to the 2011 TSSAA state runner-up in volleyball, the 2011 TSSAA state third place cross country team and the 2012 state forensics poetry champion. St. Cecilia Academy’s Class of 2012 applied to a record number of colleges earning acceptance to 158 schools and more than $9.4 million in merit scholarship offers. The class of 67 young women is attending 44 different colleges and universities in 19 states this fall.
