Event Description: Registration has closed in preparation for the event. You may register on-site beginning at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Join the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Nashville Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for a panel discussion on the Affordable Care Act’s impact on business. This event is designed to give business owners an idea of what to expect and prepare for when the various pieces of this law go into effect.

Leaders of businesses of all sizes will hear practical ideas from area experts about what to do as key provisions of the Affordable Care Act go into effect. The panel discussion will cover issues such as new tax requirements, group benefits, and what to anticipate when the insurance exchange becomes operational. Attendees will benefit by learning ways to prepare and protect your business from unexpected costs that may result from the health care law.

Directions:
From I-40, exit at Church St. and drive toward downtown. The Main Library is located on Church Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues in downtown Nashville. Free parking is offered for the first 90 minutes at the Nashville Public Library Garage. Entrances to the garage are on Sixth and Seventh Avenues between Church and Commerce Streets in downtown. After the first 90 minutes, the following rates apply: 1.5-2 hours: $1.50; 2-2.5 hours: $2.50; 2.5-3 hours: $3.50.
