The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Partnership 2020 Investors invite you to our 2012 Annual Meeting.

Join us for a celebration of our major accomplishments of the 2011-2012 fiscal year, including job creation, business recruitment, public education and workforce development.

Panel discussion:
In 1963, Nashville became the first large U.S. city to adopt a consolidated city-county government. Over the past 50 years, Nashville has become a national model for metropolitan areas. A panel of past Nashville/Davidson County mayors will discuss the history of Metro and the key achievements that have paved the way for future growth throughout our region.

Keynote speaker:
Amy Liu, Senior Fellow and Co-Director of the Brookings Institution's Metropolitan Policy Program, will discuss the importance of metro areas as drivers of the national and state economies - and the role they can play in the global economy.

We will also recognize outgoing Board Chairman Bert Mathews and the winners of the Spirit of the Chamber Awards:
  • Eduardo Minardi, Bridgestone Americas, Inc.
  • Lucia Folk, CMT
  • Steven Andre, Hutton Hotel
  • David Oliphant, Lithographics, Inc.
