The Interactive Media Meet-up is comprised of like-minded Chamber members who meet to discuss trends, challenges, ideas and thoughts. These topic-driven meetings give members the opportunity to develop connections with colleagues while learning about trends and applications in web and mobile technology.
Interactive media use technology as the hub for marketing, communication and information flow. This group will meet monthly to focus on the strategic uses of interactive media for companies of all sizes, including social media, websites, sales automation, online user experience and client retention.
Conversation Starter: Todd Bowman, SnapShot Interactive
Featured Speaker: Steve Chandler, adjunct professor, Belmont University, and owner/brand strategist, Chandlerthinks
Featured Topic: Not Your Grandfather's Advertising Agency
Yesterday's ad agency is gone. Clients expect more. Budgets are leaner. Expectations are higher. Talent is more specialized and accessible. Technology has changed all communications within the creative process. Education is more difficult.
Yesterday's ad agency has been fired, laid off, marginalized, devalued and reevaluated. Today's agency is re-purposing, fine-tuning, diversifying, specializing and learning this wild and crazy game we love all over again.
Cost: Free to attend. No advance registration is required. To be added to this group's communication list, please contact Lauren Love-Bobel.
Dates: First Friday of the month; all Chamber members are invited to join.
