Event Description:
Genesco named 2006 HR Excellence Award winner.

Join the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resources Management (MTSHRM) on June 13th to celebrate excellence in human resources at the 5th Annual HR Excellence Award luncheon.

Additionally, Facet of Excellence awards will be given to Barge Waggoner Sumner and Cannon for their work in the area of Employee Engagement and The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority for their E3I program.

The HR Excellence Award was established in 2002 to recognize area organizations with outstanding HR programs. The award is modeled on the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award and the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Award. The 2005 winner was Education Networks of America (ENA).

In addition to the award presentation, 2-time National SHRM conference speaker, Dave Quint, will give the keynote address. Dave has been recognized nationally in several magazine articles for his informative and energetic human resources presentations. This is one speaker you'll not want to miss.

Although the HR Excellence Award Luncheon will take the place of the June MTSHRM meeting, it's not just for Human Resource professionals. CEOs and Small business owners are also encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity to showcase the great Human Resource initiatives throughout Nashville.


Directions:
The Hilton is located in downtown Nashville between 4th and 5th Avenues. Valet parking will be available for a nominal charge. Self-parking is available in the Gateway Commons Garage immediately behind the Hilton.
