From emerging startups to growth companies to well-established market movers, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneur Center’s NEXT Awards recognize Middle Tennessee companies and entrepreneurs making the most significant impact on our local economy. Four finalists and one winner will be recognized in five business sectors important to the Nashville-area economy:
• Health Care
• Technology
• Digital Media & Entertainment
• Sustainability & Alternative Energy
• Social Enterprise
In addition, individual awards for outstanding entrepreneurs will be given in the following categories:
• Generation Young Entrepreneur
• Startup Entrepreneur
• Woman Entrepreneur
• Minority Entrepreneur
• Entrepreneur in each of the five business sectors above
• Legacy Entrepreneur in each of the five business sectors above
• Entrepreneur of the Year
Because professional services also play a tremendous role in the success of entrepreneurs, all companies that nominate at least one client will be entered for consideration for the NEXT Entrepreneurial Partner of the Year Award. In addition, the nominating company will also be listed in collateral and multimedia at the awards event.
