Event Description: Mentorship Training and Orientation at the Entrepreneur Center Application and payment for mentor class must be received no later than April 13 for consideration. Coffee and check-in will begin at 8:00 AM. The program runs from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The program teaches experienced individuals who are interested in working with innovative individuals and companies the best practices and process by which they can transform their experience into a relevant mentor experience. The invaluable experience that EC mentors provide to entrepreneurs and incubating companies is crucial in helping them turn their ideas into sustainable businesses. In preparation for the Training on the 20th, please complete the following steps: To register and apply for the event: Step 1: Please send the following items to connect@entrepreneurcenter.com: a. Resume b. Headshot c. Short bio (up to 250 words) d. Availability – mentors must be available to meet with startups for at least one 4-hour block of time per month. Please let us know what days and times work best for your schedule. Step 2: Please print and bring the following attached documents with you to the class. a. Member Application (Received from the EC prior to the event) b. Mentor Self-Assessment Survey (Received from the EC prior to the event) Fees: As a reminder, all our Mentors are asked to become Members of the Entrepreneur Center (a $150 fee for a 1 year membership). There is also a charge of $45 for the Mentor Training and Orientation to cover the costs of the day. You can either pay by check or credit card at the orientation.
