Employment Opportunities for the Future: Leveraging the Labor Force for Economic Growth
The region’s three Workforce Investment Boards and the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development are partnering with the Nashville Chamber to release a workforce and labor opportunities study. This study is a revision to a workforce study released in 2008 taking
into account the changes in the economy and a newer look into the future job market in our region. The research will project the region’s workforce and educational attainment needs over the next 10 years. The results will be used to align workforce development resources with economic development goals.
As a participant, you will:

Learn firsthand about the region's projected workforce and educational attainment needs over the next 10 years.

Understand how these results will be used to align workforce development resources with economic development goals.

Evaluate the impact that the changing economy, education and demographics will have on the Middle Tennessee region.

Receive highlights of the study and participate in interactive sessions.

• Take I-65 South to the Saturn Parkway(Hwy. 396) After approx. 4 miles on the parkway, stay left and follow the “GM Truck Entrance”
• Continue in the left lane under the overpass all the way to the Guard Station
• After going through Guard Station, stay in left lane and follow signs for the “Middle TN Workforce Summit”
From the South
• Take I-65 North to the Saturn Parkway(Hwy. 396) After approx. 4 miles on the parkway, stay left and follow the “GM Truck Entrance”

From Columbia
