Registration for Small Business Informed & Inspired Speaker Series is now closed. Late registration will open at 7:30 a.m. at KraftCPAs PLLC.
Directed toward owners of businesses with 50 or fewer employees, the State of TN Small Business Advocate role is to help facilitate working through bureaucracy and regulations by providing information and answering questions around issues involving small businesses and state departments and agencies.
Created in 2010 by the Tennessee General Assembly, the advocate will work to establish a system for receiving and processing comments from business owners, provide annual reports to the governor and lawmakers and rate state agencies' responsiveness to small businesses’ concerns.
In addition, the TNRedTape.com initiative created by Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey offers the opportunity to small business owners to tell their story
of overbearing government regulation and how it has affected their lives.
Speakers:
Josh Helton, Director, Legislative & Regulatory Affairs
Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development
Jordan Young, Special Assistant to the Lieutenant Governor
Tennessee General Assembly
