Lazenby is also a contributor to the book Stop Paying the Crooks: Solutions to End the Fraud that Threatens Your Healthcare. In the chapter entitled "Healthcare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse: A Smarter Way to Deter and Prevent," he proposes five core tenets for a smarter way to approach the issue.
