Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are comprised of Chamber members with similar interests who meet to discuss trends, challenges, ideas, and thoughts. SIGs give members the opportunity to learn, network, and develop long-term, meaningful relationships in a casual setting that promotes conversation and camaraderie. SIGs will be formed without regard to geographical boundaries and will be guided by “conversation starters.”
It is vital to recruit, engage and retain talented young professionals in our companies and in the community. Share ideas for retaining talented YPs, and discuss ways the region can partner together to recruit and engage this important demographic. This group will also discuss how Internships can engage our local college students, connect them to the business community and retain them after they graduate.
Note: This is not a networking group for college students or recent graduates, but rather a group for employers to discuss how to help these workers in this economy.
This program is open to Chamber members only. Click here to learn about the value of Chamber membership for your business.
