Please join the Nashville Area Chamber and the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management as we host the winners of the 2009 HR Excellence Awards with keynote speaker Dr. Thom S. Rainer, President and CEO of LifeWay Christian Resources, and a prominent author, speaker and
researcher.
Rainer will discuss how HR plays a strategic role in the company, and how their excellence in the five criteria areas - strategy, HR management, training, metrics and employee relations - have influenced the success of the organization.
Established to recognize and foster human resource excellence among Middle Tennessee organizations, the HR Excellence Awards program is based on the scrupulous HR principles of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program. Businesses are invited to self-nominate for an award each year and are evaluated on proficiency in five areas: strategy; management practices; employee education, training and development; performance measurement;
and employee well-being and engagement.
