The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors enthusiastically invites all members to the 161st Annual Celebration.
After a year of living the brand, we would like to use the energy and spirit of Belong, Engage, Lead and Prosper to show every member the difference you are making in the community and thank you for contributing to another year of success. This year, we will highlight the many ways you have chosen to be engaged, sharing a vision for the future and sharing the collective influence to make it happen.
We are particularly excited to recognize volunteer leaders in the Chamber by presenting the new Spirit of the Chamber awards. These awards will celebrate members who have contributed above and beyond their call of duty to the Chamber and within the community.
The Chamber’s top priority is education. As such, we are honored to welcome Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), as the 2008 Annual Celebration keynote speaker. Hrabowski will stress the importance of educating students to become future leaders and will examine the correlation between a strong education system and a healthy and prosperous community.
