The Chamber’s West Area Business Council to host transportation congestion discussion.
Are you frustrated with the traffic in the Green Hills/Belle Meade Area? Do you sit in rush-hour traffic? If so, you need to attend this upcoming meeting as the Chamber’s West Area Business Council looks at alternative ways to help alleviate congestion. In addition, how do we address the environmental issues that congestion causes? And
how do we provide relief for commuters, residents and visitors traveling in and around the area?
As
Nashville
continues to grow, this issue will need to be addressed. The WABC will look at a long-range plan for the area and what role business leaders can play. This information will be shared with Mayor Karl Dean at the Area Business Councils’ Let’s Do Lunch on Feb. 7.
Guest speaker: Diane Thorne, executive director, Regional Transportation Authority
Cost: Free for Chamber Members
