Event Description:
Did you miss the Southern Area Business Council planning workshop in December? Mark your calendar for Session 2!

Your input and knowledge are still needed as we continue to create a marketing plan for the SABC.

Our first work session, on Dec. 12, was a constructive discussion about the needs and wants within the SABC trade area. In the Jan. 11 session, the focus will be around creating a vision statement, inventory of available real estate and review of research tools.  Click HERE to review notes from Session 1.

This work will lead up to the third session where we will create a marketing plan for the SABC to use as we identify new retail and commercial businesses that are needed in the area, in addition to helping existing businesses expand.

These TVA-led work sessions are designed for community and business leaders to better understand retail development and retention in order to expand the local tax and revenue base, enhance property values, support job growth and enhance capital investment. As an SABC member, your input and knowledge are valuable as we come together to create and evaluate the components for a sustainable community and discuss opportunities for prosperity.
