Event Description:
This workshop presents a unique opportunity for Nashville Area Chamber members to belong, engage, lead and prosper.

The Chamber’s Area Business Councils (ABCs) are excited about a new partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Working together with TVA, each ABC will develop an economic development/marketing plan for their council area. As a member of the SABC, you are invited to participate in work sessions to construct and develop this strategy to improve the business district and community for the SABC area.

The work sessions are designed for community and business leaders to understand retail development and retention in order to expand the local tax and revenue base, enhance property values, support job growth and enhance capital investment. As business leaders in the community, your input and knowledge are valuable as we come together to create and evaluate the components for a sustainable community and discuss the barriers to prosperity.

Directions:
Nashville Zoo at Grassmere can be accessed from either I-65 or I-24 at the Harding Place Exit.

From I-24: Exit Harding Place (#56) on the east side and head west about 1.5 miles to Nolensville Pike. Turn right on Nolensville and the Zoo is about one mile on your left.

From I-65: Exit Harding Place (#78A) on the south side of Nashville and head east to Nolensville Pike about 2 miles. Turn left on Nolensville and the Zoo is about one mile on your left.

From I-440: Exit Nolensville Pike (#6) on the south side of Nashville and head south about 2.6 miles. The Zoo is on your right.
