Event Description:
Experience the four corners of Nashville!

The Area Business Councils will be hosting their first IntraCity visit on June 20th. This event will showcase and provide hands-on experience to discover the diverse communities and grassroots issues for each area.

The visit will provide the opportunity to explore and discuss the successes and obstacles, quality of life and economic development of each area. It will be a great day to share ideas for the future of Nashville. Learn more about your community and how you can make a difference, while networking and building relationships with community leaders.

During the daylong event, the group will travel together (transportation provided) on a guided tour of Nashville covering areas including North Nashville, MetroCenter, Green Hills, Belle Meade, Historic East Nashville, Hickory Hollow and Nolensville Road.

You will hear from a wide variety of speakers – Rep. Janis Sontany; TK Davis, Nashville Civic Design Center; Carlyle Carroll, Economic Development, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce; Jack Becker, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens; and more. These special guest speakers will discuss the future development and growth in Nashville, the multiculturalism of different areas and the challenges and opportunities that come with each.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Prices will be $10 higher after deadline.

The visit will begin and end at the Millennium Maxwell House


Directions:
To Millennium Maxwell House Hotel:
Traveling I-40 (West) through downtown Nashville to exit #208 which is 65 North. Take 65 North, exit #85, MetroCenter Boulevard. Turn left, and at the second stoplight turn left again.
