Event Description: The Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) will hold an Open House Appreciation Brunch this Saturday, December 3rd, from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. This program will include a session explaining Islam while addressing misconceptions, Q&A with Imam Bahloul, dialogue and brunch. We are expecting over 300 visitors. A special award (Caught in the Act of Caring - Making the World a Better Place through the Arts) will be presented to April Benson-Scearce for her inspirational artistic work of peace. Also, brunch will be provided as a token of our appreciation. We will hold a collection for the families impacted by the fire in Gatlinburg through either the Community Foundation of Middle TN and/or will promote the Dolly Parton My People Fund.
