From performing arts to music to urban design, Nashville's arts community is essential to our city's vitality and our quality of life.

The arts have shaped our cultural identity, generated greater civic involvement and contributed to the Nashville "brand" -- all of which has been integral to attracting new business and retaining existing business in the Nashville region.

Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce
in partnership with
Metro Nashville Arts Commission,
Nashville Business Committee for the Arts
and Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau
will present "Art Is Good Business," a networking luncheon featuring a keynote address from Robert L. Lynch, president and CEO of Americans for the Arts.

Lynch will discuss how the local arts industry is a key driver of economic development and community involvement. Findings from an ongoing study of the arts and their overall impact to the regional economy will be presented. Learn statistics on the real economic impact of the arts on the Nashville community, including how arts contribute to Nashville's economic development; how arts help attract tourism to the region; and how Nashville's arts economy compares with peer cities across the nation.
