Event Description: Online registration is now closed in preparation of the event. On-site registration will be available beginning at 7 a.m. Friday.

Join us for the Moving Forward Speaker Series as we hear from Gabe Klein, a former director of the transportation systems in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Klein is the author of Start-up City: Inspiring Private & Public Entrepreneurships, Getting Projects Done and Having Fun.  

Drawing from his successful work in both the public and private sector, Klein will be talking about what he has learned about the new triple-bottom-line P3 of public-private-partnerships: people-planet-profit. He will also demonstrate how private-sector innovators can align their profit motives with cities by prioritizing the greater good as a primary goal rather than just a marketing tool. The first 50 people to register for this event will receive a free copy of his book.

Throughout the year, Moving Forward will bring national experts to Middle Tennessee to help our residents learn more about improving public transportation. Speaker series events are free and open to the public.
