Event Description: As part of the 2007 HR Excellence Award program, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Tennessee Society of Human Resource Managers will host a series of workshops focusing on how companies can use the HR Excellence criteria to improve their current HR initiatives. The focus of this free workshop will be HR Strategy and HR Management Practices.

3:45 p.m. Registration, Welcome, & Snacks

4:00 p.m. Program Introduction

HR Strategy: HR Strategy focuses on how the human resources function sets objectives and develops action plans that help your business meet its goals and objectives.

HR Management Practices: HR Management Practices focuses on measuring HR practices and policies that seek to maximize productivity, flexibility for change and opportunity for organizational effectiveness.

Directions:
Exit I-40 at Demonbreun. Turn away from downtown (left if headed west on I-40, right if headed east) onto Demonbreun. Pass the Demonbreun row of restaurants and shops on the right; proceed to the Musica roundabout at the top of the hill. Enter the roundabout; the Roundabout Plaza building will be immediately on the right, just after passing Dan McGuinness pub. Exit I-40 at Demonbreun. Turn away from downtown (left if headed west on I-40, right if headed east) onto Demonbreun. Pass the Demonbreun row of restaurants and shops on the right; proceed to the Musica roundabout at the top of the hill. Enter the roundabout; the Roundabout Plaza building will be immediately on the right, just after passing Dan McGuinness pub.

Pass the front entrance and turn right into the parking garage entrance. Take a ticket to enter. Paradigm Group is located on the second floor in suite 220.
