Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are comprised of Chamber members with similar interests who meet to discuss trends, challenges, ideas and thoughts. SIGs give members the opportunity to learn, network and develop long-term, meaningful relationships in a casual setting that promotes conversation and camaraderie. SIGs will be formed without regard to geographical boundaries and will be guided by “conversation starters.”
This Sales/Business Development Shared Interest Group will discuss their biggest sales successes and failures. Participants will be able to learn from each other's experiences in a relaxed setting.
Conversation starter: Cindy Houston Hazen of Sales Executives.
Topic: “How to be more effective, increase sales and make more money!”
You’ll come away with specific action steps you can accomplish to boost your personal effectiveness on the job and at home. In this session, you’ll discover and rate yourself on 10 keys to your own personal effectiveness.
Featured speaker: Joel Fay, Blue Oak Business Advisors
Blue Oak Business Advisors was founded by Fay to work with successful owners and top leaders to improve their issues with low profits, sluggish growth, soft sales and marketing, people problems and working too hard for the return. Fay has served as President, COO and CMO. He has also led teams of 1,300+ in size and loves the art of good leadership. You can find Fay at his website where you can sign up for his weekly blog on personal and business effectiveness.
