Do you measure success according to the "triple-bottom-line" philosophy (people, planet, profit)? Are you a change agent, disseminating new approaches and sustainable solutions that create social value? Do you and your business have a commitment to corporate social responsibility?
If you are nodding your head (and even if you're shaking your head, but you wish you were nodding), join the conversation. We are inviting all contributing voices to come together to put Nashville on the proverbial map of social entrepreneurship.
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes the growing movement of corporate social responsibility and social enterprise. Our new Social Enterprise Shared Interest Group, led by Evan Owens from centresource, launched in March. Come contribute to the community of local, regional, national and international social entrepreneurs – and learn about the movement from local and regional thought leaders.
Featured speakers: We will have a collection of social entrepreneurs who have recently completed incubation at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center as part of the Social Enterprise Alliance's program.
Cost: Free to attend. No advance registration is required. To be added to this group's communication list, please contact Lauren Love-Bobel.
Dates: Third Tuesday of every month; all are invited to join.
