The Arts Company on 5th Avenue of the Arts launches the gallery’s Summer of Art on 5th, with Five From Memphis, the inaugural invitational series of exhibitions, entitled Selected Contemporary Tennessee Artists. This exhibition featuring West Tennessee artists is co-curated by The Arts Company with David Lusk Gallery in Memphis, TN. The featured artists include Maysey Craddock, Hamlett Dobbins, Don Estes, Jared Small, and Twin (Jerry and Terry Lynn). Exhibition begins June 1, during First Saturday Art Crawl, 4PM-9PM (New First Saturday Summer Hours), and continues through July 19.
ALSO - On Friday, May 31, 5:30PM-8PM, 5th Avenue of the Arts presents Collectors Art Night featuring a progressive event highlighted by intriguing art talks beginning at The Tennessee Art League, continuing to Tinney Contemporary, then to The Rymer Gallery, and finishing at The Arts Company. The event will be hosted by Paul Polycarpou, editor of Nashville Arts Magazine.
The event is free but RSVP's required. With registration, the event includes free valet parking in front of Puckett's, complimentary appetizers by Puckett's, desserts by The Cupcake Collection and gourmet coffee by Frothy Monkey, with wine provided by the galleries.
