Event Description: Modern Impressionists: Murat Kaboulov & Lori Putnam May 11 - July 27 Opening Reception: Saturday, June 1st 5-8pm Our 2013 summer show continues the dissection of the many genres of work by Russian master Murat Kaboulov with a close look this year at his most impressionistic paintings. We are pleased that the Kaboulov estate continues to partner with us to extend this master's legacy. We could think of no one better to pair with Kaboulov than Lori Putnam, who in recent years has catapulted her skill level (and career) to much acclaim. Painting, competing and teaching all over the world has brought her repeated national recognition. She has won many awards and has gained the respect of peers and critics all over the country. This will be an exceptionally strong exhibit supported by several additional events including a 2-day workshop taught by Putnam and the return of our popular Summer Supper Clubs (a 3-course meal served inside the gallery w/special guest artist).
