In partnership with his daughter Claire, Marshall opened Hattie Jane’s Creamery in July 2016. Located next to the Puckett’s Gro. in downtown Columbia, Tenn. and Murfreesboro, Tenn., the artisan ice cream shop is inspired by the Marshall family’s love for dessert and named after Claire’s daughter. Hattie Jane’s selection is small but unique, offering creative flavors that feature high-quality ingredients that are absent of fillers and additives. The ice cream is produced in small batches on-site and uses local ingredients whenever possible; all flavors except those that are dairy and egg-free are made using local Hatcher Dairy cream and milk. Hattie Jane’s also offers a selection of baked goods and a full-service coffee bar at both locations.
