The RTA operates Middle Tennessee's only passenger rail service, the Music City Star, which offers a weekday schedule from downtown Nashville to Donelson, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Martha and Lebanon in Wilson County. The Star has been in service since 2006. Regional bus service to nearby counties, carpooling and vanpooling also are provided.
