Established in 1969, the Nashville Film Festival (NashFilm) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to advancing creative innovation, music and the many voices of the human spirit through independent film. NashFilm was originally known as the Sinking Creek Film Celebration. Nearly 20 years later it was renamed the Nashville Independent Film Festival and, later, the Nashville Film Festival in 2003. 2019 will be highlighted by the Nashville Film Festival’s 50th Celebration.
