I used this company moved from Springfield Tennessee to Brownsburg Indiana. It was a very large move. I had two great guys that loaded the truck in Springfield and they also unloaded me and Indiana. They did a very great job very courteous very fun. Nice guys to work with I appreciate them so much And I appreciate the great service that I received from true friends I highly recommend them

Awful- the service was so beyond bad I don't even know where to begin. Did everything to make it smooth and easy - they damaged the property I moved out of - left a full load of contents behind. Told m. Needed 3 people - overcharged me and then offered me $100 for coverage of damage - oh yeah and during move left rugs - & additional content at property- service recovery was so poor - wish I had used College Hunks!!!!

After reviewing your move further, we see that your move was scheduled on 10/6/23 and our system shows that we sent you a claims link via email on 10/9/23 at 10:58 a.m. for any damages that may have occurred on your recent move. Our system shows the email was opened on 10/10/23 at 4:11 p.m. We allow 30 days to submit a claim for any damages that may have been caused on your move. This is also stated in the contract that was emailed to you on 10/6/23. Our system shows that we also emailed you on 10/31/23 at 3:37 pm to follow up regarding the damages mentioned and to process a claim. Our system shows that the email was opened on 10/31/23 at 4:42 pm. Our system does not show that a claim was filed.
Regarding the overall cost of your move, when sales book a move, we don’t guarantee an estimated cost, we bill per hour and charge the customer for however long it takes to complete their move. We apologize for any misunderstanding during the booking process. When evaluating your move, we show that sales “estimated” your move at 7 hours and 45 minutes with a crew of 3 men. The crew completed your move in 7 hours and 15 minutes. Based on the time frame that your move was completed with a crew of 3 men, a crew of 2 men would have extended the overall time of your move. Our sales team does their best to confirm size, labor needs, and estimated time of the move, despite any unforeseen circumstances. I hope this clarifies your concerns regarding the overall cost of your move.
After reviewing your move further in our system, we spoke with you on 10/9/23 and you confirmed the crew did go back and retrieve the rugs that you mentioned were left behind. We do truly apologize for this inconvenience, and we are glad to hear that the rugs were retrieved. You also confirmed that at the beginning of your move, you told the crew that they could leave some smaller items behind but then told them to grab other items when they went back to retrieve the rugs. Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm or deny if our crew was told to leave or take these items. We greatly apologize for any miscommunication that may have taken place. We show that we offered you a monetary resolution to resolve your complaint. Our system does not show that you accepted the monetary resolution offered for your complaint. 10/10 would not recommend unless you want lazy unprofessional movers who complain the whole time an also break an or lose your belongings. I couldn't even read the contract I signed because I was being rushed by the movers an then they picked things that I didn't agree too

Hi Mishell, we are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your recent move with our company. We appreciate your honest feedback. After reviewing your move, we have processed a claim and we have offered a resolution to resolve your claim for damages that may have occurred during your move. You have declined to accept the resolution offered. You have expressed that you demand a full refund because you did not read the contract prior to signing it.
Our dispatch department communicated with you the day prior to your move and discussed the contract in detail. They also emailed you a copy of the contract and valuation options available. Our system shows you opened and read the email. You were informed to call after reviewing if you had any additional questions. On the day of the move, the crew leader went over the contract again while collecting your signature.
Regarding the movers, we thank you for providing these photos which will help us improve. We just completed a training seminar where our crews were required to practice these techniques which will help us improve overall. We take all feedback seriously as we strive to provide exceptional customer service while leaving our customers satisfied. I received a very prompt call from True Friends within 30 minutes of my Yelp generated RFQ that sent my request to multiple businesses in my area.
The gentleman was friendly (living up to the name), kind, and helpful. He explaining what all they can help me with, and the rates were very fair. After breaking my back in '21, this is the first time I've ever used a moving service. After speaking to True Friends, I'm less worried about how this might go and looking forward to finishing this review. So far so good!

Terrible. Unprofessional, poorly prepared and underqualified. Everyone i spoke with on the phone was very kind and reassuring UNTIL moving day came - then it was like pulling teeth to try to get anyone to do anything. Overpromised and Overdelivered.
Make sure to have your checks handy too... they didn't tell me about the 3% upcharge to use a credit/debit card until the move was done so it cost me an additional $90 just to use a card. So unprofessional.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

This company crammed our furniture into our truck without shrink wrapping and blanketing furniture as promised. Even though they broke and scratched several items we decided to buy new furniture instead of dealing with them further.

I hired this company to move me from my 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom home. The initial customer service calls were ok. But no details weee transferred between reps. If you're actually looking for a professional, or organized moving company that knowledgeable with ordering product, scheduling, and handling your payment; this isn't it.
Post Booking & Pre-Move
I spoke with 2 consultants prior to my move. And neither shared key details with the other. They were I'll prepared. They didn't have enough boxes. And refused to support with getting boxes the day of the move. I also asked for 3 movers instead of two. As I've hired professional movers a lot. And knew I needed an additional person. They didn't do that. And told me they would have an extra person help. That person never showed up.
They left behind 30-40% of my items. I'm now stuck with hiring another company to finish my move. Which will cost me another $1,000+.
Payment
They had enough nerve to call me days after to say they lost my check. And needed full payment before discussing resolution. I paid them and nothing has been done. I recapped my experience. Sent over 20 photos with all items left behind. Paid over &1600. AND they damaged my wall in my brand new house. And haven't even scheduled time to get that fixed.
I've asked for a manager to call me and discuss type of financial reimbursement and they have not provided that. I received a call from a Claims Manager named Kenzie who sounded like a bill collector and sent me a passive aggressive email. Thanking me for payment and failing to address any of my concerns thoroughly.

We know you are a previous customer, so we hate to hear that your last move did not go as planned as those guys usually get great feedback. We would like to clarify that we provide boxes based off of the information given during the booking process. In the event that there are more boxes needed than initially ordered, we typically recommend that the customer go to the nearest U-Haul to purchase additional boxes as we stock our trucks based off of the items requested by the customer. While we cannot change what occurred during your move, we did attempt in multiple ways to make things right. For example, our dispatch manager attempted to schedule a discounted move to move the remainder of your items, but they unfortunately never heard back from you. In addition, the claims manager set up an appointment to repair the entirety of the wall damage, and the technician stated that you were satisfied with the work done. We hope that our attempts have left you with a better impression of our company.

I used this company over a year ago. I also had storage on their property. I ended up with a very damaged hope chest and I had mice that were born in the same chest. I reported the problems and naturally they tried to make it out to be my fault, not theirs. They said it was because I went into my storage, it had to be my doing. I ended up with a fight on my hands and they reluctantly reimbursed me for the loss of an electrical cord to my reclining sofa and partial cost of the repair of my hope chest. It was left up to me to deal with the mice as the movers were afraid of them, but so was I.

SCAM! BEWARE! THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!! They took my money and ran and have now charged my account a second deposit.
I booked a moving appointment for 7/30/22 on 6/30/22, I paid a deposit and received a confirmation email. 7/30 came and no one showed up. I called to get an update and they apologized saying they failed to dispatch the job and would call me back to schedule a move the next day. Never heard from them again. I called back every hour for the rest of the day and they began sending all of my calls to voicemail.
So now I am booking a move with another moving company and having to dispute the credit card charges because they won't answer our calls.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
