A truly bizarre experience. The owner, Chris, came out to provide a quote on replacing my HVAC system. Made a great first impression but then completely disappeared. Said I would have a quote within a couple of days and notified me via email that there would be a 1-2 day delay. A week later, I followed up via email and phone three times - with no response.

I recently purchased my first home and had Halo come out to look at my HVAC system. The tech told me what he assumed the issue is, and even mentioned how there's only 30 certified master HVAC techs and he's one of them. So I felt confident that they were going to take care of it and do it right. He told me that the owner would email me an estimate by end of day so we could proceed with the job. I never received the estimate. Tried calling three times. Complete crickets. Then...best part: they send us an invoice for "Diagnostic Fee Residential" for $79. Highly confused by the entire situation and think it's pretty unprofessional to just leave customers in the dust then expect a random payment.

We had a great experience with Halo. Our AC stopped working one night in August. (Ugh.) I called at 6:30am and got a real person, (Candace), who got me on the schedule for first thing that morning. Our technician showed up on on time and had it fixed within an hour. The price was fair, the service was friendly, and I'm now basking in my AC again. I will definitely use Halo in the future!

Disappointing experience with getting an estimate. I contacted this company by phone and was told that someone would be in touch. Per their request, I provided some information about my current system, and then heard nothing back for days. When I proactively reached out to ask if they planned to provide an estimate as promised, I was told they were too busy. On one hand, I suppose that's a good thing for Halo, on the other hand, when it produces a negative Yelp review and someone who will be a detractor for your business moving forward, it's probably not the best thing! I'd advise looking elsewhere for HVAC work.

Halo installed my HVAC system a year ago, unfortunately I had an after hours call fielded by another company, cost me $500, they said system duct work was installed improperly. I called Halo to come out, they never showed up. Called two more times, still no show. No call back, no nothing. Going to be a battle over this warranty issue, we'll see what happens after the 4th try to get them to my house.

Kudos to John for keeping us cool! We called in the morning and within 3 hours he had diagnosed, gotten the replacement part and completed the repair. He kept us informed of costs and options; billing and payment was fast and easy. Turned out to be way less than we anticipated. His years of experience and friendliness are a great asset- we will definitely call Halo next time we need HVAC help!

I've been using them for the past couple of years and they have been great. I always get a handful of quotes before spending money on expensive appliances and I have always felt like they are honest and fair. I do the Halo club because keeping stuff clean is extremely important for this climate and for the Amana lifetime warranty.

Halo is great. They were able to quickly determine the problem with my split level unit and fix it promptly even when the first company I called came out and stated they were not familiar with those systems. I would highly recommend Halo for your tough problems as well as routine preventative maintenance.

Horrible customer service. Can't count on them to do what they say they are going to do. After 3 months of waiting, I'm giving up and going with someone else. Wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
