Joe came out this morning to do our scheduled maintenance. He showed me the inside of the HVAC unit so I know what it looks like in there.
There was a broken part and he had to search for a replacement , but he was able to locate one and replace it.
He recommended maintenance we should do since we recently remodeled, and things are very dusty.
The unit is working great & I am a happy camper.

Apr 20, 2024Previous reviewI am very upset right now at the level of customer service I am receiving after three days of in and out installing my new HVAC service. Calling the 24-hour help line and getting talked to like I'm an idiot has not helped. As of right now, I suggest you go somewhere else if you want any air conditioning services. These are not your people.

If you want transparency - this is not it. First and foremost this company is national, they go under the name service experts and plant themselves in small towns and name themselves accordingly to lure customers into thinking that they are local.
I had a technician come out one day, to inspect the unit, and they told me they had to come back the following day to finish diagnosis. Paid 99 for the the day And for told there would be no more fees for the trip.
Next day I receive the call regarding the diagnosis and get quoted double what other companies are quoting. They mention they provide a $200 dollar monthly subscription/financing of sorts, but
manage to leave out the term. 10 years upon asking! That's about 30k for an A/C unit and their 'no charge' service and repair. You tell me if that's a good deal. I tell him I'll think about and shop around more.
Then they hit me with an invoice for another 100 bucks and ask me when I'm going to pay, confused I tell them it's already been paid. And they inform me that I paid for the 100 dollar trip out, not the 100 dollar diagnosis. Go figure! Literally told me there was no more fees beyond the initial trip payment!

Thomas Vincent did our duct cleaning and the job he did was superior. He was personable, friendly, showed me photos of the progress of the job, cleaned up after himself and did great work.

Our first visit with our technician, Jeffery Ownby, was wonderful and he really got us hooked to the membership, he was efficient and very professional. Unfortunately, with our most recent tune-up it has led us to begin writing a report for this business to the BBB as we feel like fraudulent activity may be happening to consumers.
In regards to this most recent tuneup, our technician, Sara, showed up and checked out the attic, but was unable to check the unit outside as it was raining that day. She said everything looked fine, but that she would follow up in a couple weeks to check out the unit outside. When she arrived a few weeks later to check out the unit outside she had two other men with her, a new technician, and someone in training. They spent a good amount of time rechecking the attic and the outside- at the end of the visit, they sat me down to review our "home health report card" and notified me that I had several extremely worrisome issues.
They mentioned my blower going out, my coils, needing replacement, mold growth, low refrigerant, a ticking sound, a water leak, and many other issues that can be seen in the report card. I will mention, the person reviewing this report and speaking the whole visit was the newer technician, Garrett Couture. At the end of his explanation, he said only one fix was necessary, and it was extremely urgent - a new $17k HVAC unit or ours was going to die out rather soon. I mentioned to him that my husband was away for work, and this was a big spend we needed to discuss together, I jokingly said, "I hope the unit last till next week so I can talk to my husband about it first." And he responded very sternly, "I can't promise that, it does not look good- and could go out at any time."
After he left, I of course called my husband and explained everything, and we decided it would be best to call the technician and ask if there were other options, such as repairs, versus a replacement. A day later he called me back, and I asked him how much it would cost for repairs and he said $8,000. We talked on the phone for almost 15 minutes and he told me all the pricing options for a new unit. I also mentioned to him that at our visit six months ago, Jeffery, mentioned none of this, he then proceeded to tell me "Jeffery is old and we're working on him to do better." (?!?) The did not sit well with us as we just bought this house six months ago and our home inspection said the unit was fine, and our first tuneup (the day we moved in) with Jeffrey, everything went fine as well.
We called a different HVAC company to come out and give us a second opinion, we learned from this visit that there are ZERO issues with our unit. No refrigerant is needed, coils are fine, blower is fine, no water damage, etc.
We are shocked at the manipulation and fear-mongering that Garrett tried to instill on me while also trying to "train" another employee as well. We feel like this was a very targeted profiling, in which Garrett was trying to gouge us for money. During his visit at my home, I was alone with my two kids and he was pressuring me over and over again to get a new unit.
We believe that this unprofessionalism and fear-mongering is so wrong. Their technician tried to convince us to spend 17 grand on a unit that was working completely fine, what else is he pushing on other people who don't know any better?

Our hot water heater went out. We called them on a Wednesday night. The plumber Anthony arrived Thursday morning and installed a new unit because the old one could not be repaired. He was kind, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He completed the job, and we were very happy to have hot water again.

$12,000 to replace an a/c unit and repair duct work... Result: A/C shuts off when it's hot outside. A technician came out and said he won't fix unless we pay more money. (Even though the company guarantees their work for a year). We've filed a complaint with the BBB and I would caution anyone considering hiring this company.

Kenneth and Denise Holt Trinity Rd Franklin Tn ....Jan 17, 2024 you guys sent Dustin Duger to my house in 10 degree weather and a foot of snow ( thank heavens) and this young man had my heat fixed in 15 minutes and stayed another 30 to make sure it was working correctly !!! I don't know what this young man makes but it's not enough honestly !! not many young men are as nice bright and as well mannered as this one and I did join your main/service program strictly because of him ... Thank you Mid State/Donelson Air for getting someone there you rock !!!!!! A+++++++++++++ and many thanks D Duger you are a terrific young man which is rare now
