Medical fitness center providing programs to employers that assess and manage employee risks leading to disease. Programs address lifestyle and behavior change, risk assessment/screening, health education. Interventions include nutrition, weight management, screenings, exercise, smoking cessation, and stress management. This creates healthier employees, increases productivity and decreases health care utilization.

Vanderbilt LifeFlight, is the critical care air medical transport service of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Staffed by highly trained flight nurses, communicators and pilots, LifeFlight provides the highest level of care during transport available to the entire region. LifeFlight utilizes four helicopters, a King Air 200 fixed wing aircraft and specialized neonatal critical care ambulances.

The School has departments in mechanical, civil, environmental, chemical, electrical, computer, and biomedical engineering, and computer science. BS, BE, MS, ME, PhD degrees are conferred. Faculty are available for research and consulting services. Student internship and student recruiting opportunities are available through the University Career Center or by contacting the Dean's Office. Vanderbilt University is near downtown, on the west side of the city.

Lipscomb University offers 100 liberal arts bachelor's degree studies in programs designed for traditional students or working adults. Master's degrees are offered in Bible, business administration, and education. David Lipscomb Campus School offers grades K-12 and associated with the university. Established in 1973, Nossi College of Art recently constructed a new campus just north of Downtown Nashville. Due to growing interest in its visual communications programs, the small, private college now offers bachelor and associate degrees in photography, graphic design, illustration and video.
