The global economy is changing rapidly. One of the biggest indicators of this change is the growth of the middle class in emerging economies.

The European Strategy and Policy Analysis System's Global Trends 2030 report,
"Citizens in an Interconnected and Polycentric World," predicts the middle class will increase in influence as its ranks swell to 3.2 billion by 2020 and to 4.9 billion by 2030 (out of a total population of 8.3 billion). Over the coming two decades, the world will likely evolve from being predominantly poor to mostly middle class.

At this event, our expert panelists will discuss how businesspeople can capitalize on the changing consumption habits of emerging markets with the rise of the middle class.
