The Interactive Media Meet-up is comprised of like-minded Chamber members who meet to discuss trends, challenges, ideas and thoughts. These topic-driven meetings give members the opportunity to develop connections with colleagues while learning about trends and applications in web and mobile technology.
Interactive media use technology as the hub for marketing, communication and information flow. This group will meet monthly to focus on the strategic uses of interactive media for companies of all sizes, including social media, websites, sales automation, online user experience and client retention.
Conversation Starter: Mark Smith, CentreSource
Featured Topic:
Problem: It is becoming increasingly important to create an experience that is able to add gravity to the message and strategically convert your audience through using high quality design, clear and concise messaging, and maintain a relationship after their first touch with your organization.
Mike Freeman with South Central Media will explore common mistakes made by small to medium-sized businesses as they develop their online presence. We will look at examples of sites that look like they might work well, but study them from an analytical point of view and see what actually can occur when a design strays from core messaging.
Cost: Free to attend. No advance registration is required. To be added to this group's communication list, please contact Lauren Love-Bobel.
Dates: First Friday of the month; all Chamber members are invited to join.
