July is marketing month for Business Studio and we've partnered with k2forma to bring you four "DIY" marketing workshops as part of our Marketing Starter Series. This series is designed to empower small business owners to manage their marketing efforts and optimize their resources on their own. You’ll learn how to work smarter, not harder.
We’ll explore free tools, templates and resources that allow business owners to oversee and manage their own efforts while focusing on growing their core business. We’ll also discuss the “how” and “why” of marketing to help you determine what strategies are right for your business.
Kelly Koeppel of k2forma will lead the workshops with a different industry expert as our guest facilitator each week. The workshops will be hands on with lively discussion and will build upon the previous class. The workshops are designed to be a four part series but can also be “a la carte” and attended individually.
Templated vs. Custom – why is one better than the other and how do I know which is right for my business?
We’ll discuss the various web template platforms, their costs, and pros & cons. We’ll discuss some of the trends in web templates, new players emerging on the scene, etc. We’ll also cover basic SEO implementation, Google Analytics, and why this is important. It’s shocking how many smart and savvy companies don’t currently use Google Analytics.
