To help you build your business, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off new professional development workshops in partnership with c3/consulting. Ideal for teams or individuals, these full- and half-day workshops will help your organization increase productivity, improve collaboration, enhance leadership skills and learn techniques for strategic planning. Join us Tuesday, June 10, for the first workshop in the series, Breakthrough Thinking: Avoid Thinking Biases.
Every day we face challenges, from the simple to the complex. These challenges often require us to respond in ways that break from old habits and traditional solutions. We need to think in a different way. This workshop includes an assessment tool that will raise your awareness of the biases you may have for and against various thinking styles. Once you know your own biases, you can be more strategic about how your problem solve, more conscious about how you collaborate, and more deliberate about how you innovate.
This workshop will provide:
• Introduction to thinking preferences
• Debrief regarding your thinking preference and the implications
• Introduction to a problem-solving framework that relates to the preferences
Half-day course: 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (lunch included)
Instructor: Janet McDonald, vice president, c3/consulting
Price:
$400 per person for Chamber members
$550 per person for future members
